This
page contains a sample of our work with QuickTimeTM VR. This
technology allows us to create photographic-quality navigable spaces.
What you see is not a simple still image. Click inside the image and drag
your mouse to navigate within the space. You can look around to see what's
off to either side--even spin completely around. You can also zoom in
for a closer look. Click on the magnifying glass icon with a plus sign
to zoom in; click on the one with the minus sign to zoom out.
This
VR panorama was taken at Asilomar Beach near Monterey, California. It
is also a linked VR panorama. That is, you can move down onto the beach.
When you have the stairs to the beach in view, click on the stairs or
the beach and you will move to a new VR panorama on the beach. Click on
the stairs or the dunes to move back up to the high ground. It's possible
to link many VR panoramas in this way to provide a "walk-through"
feeling.
To
view our VR panoramas, you need to have QuickTime installed on your computer.
QuickTime is a fully cross-platform (works on both MacintoshTM
and WindowsTM computers) multimedia technology. You can download
the latest version of QuickTime free from Apple Computer at:
